Why TDS Fab?
Fair question.
There are a lot of fabricators out there.
Some have bigger shops.
Some have fancier websites.
Some probably have a conference room with words like synergy and innovation written on the wall.
We don't.
What we do have is a simple belief:
Truck equipment should solve problems.
Sounds obvious, right?
You'd be surprised.
We've seen storage systems that hold less stuff than the cardboard box they replaced.
We've seen racks that rattle so much they sound like a shopping cart being pushed down a gravel road.
We've seen "heavy-duty" accessories that developed a permanent fear of actual work.
That's not our style.
We Build For People Who Use Their Trucks
Not people who polish them every Saturday.
Not people who panic when a branch brushes the paint.
Not people who need twelve LED light bars to drive to the grocery store.
We're talking about contractors, linemen, ranchers, mechanics, hunters, guides, farmers, welders, landscapers, and everyone else who views a truck as a tool instead of a personality trait.
If that's you, you'll probably fit right in.
We Ask Weird Questions
Most shops ask:
"What do you want built?"
We ask:
"What's making you mad?"
Because the answer is usually more useful.
Maybe your tools are buried under everything else.
Maybe you're tired of climbing into the bed like you're auditioning for a circus act.
Maybe every time you open your tailgate, half your equipment tries to escape.
Those are problems.
And solving problems is where custom fabrication shines.
We Don't Pretend To Know Your Job Better Than You
You've spent years figuring out what works.
We're not here to explain your industry to you.
We're here to listen, learn how you use your equipment, and build something that makes your day easier.
You know the work.
We know the metal.
Together, that's usually a pretty effective combination.
If It's Dumb, We'll Say So
Respectfully.
Probably with a laugh.
But we'll still say it.
One of the benefits of custom fabrication is honesty.
If something won't work, we'll tell you.
If there's a better way, we'll suggest it.
If your original idea can be improved, we'll show you how.
And if your idea is actually brilliant, we'll probably wish we'd thought of it first.
We Build Things Like We Have To Own Them
This one is simple.
Before anything leaves the shop, we ask ourselves:
"Would we put this on our own truck?"
If the answer is no, it gets fixed.
Because once your equipment leaves our shop, it's going to see weather, vibration, mud, dust, tools, fuel cans, lumber, chains, rocks, bad roads, and probably at least one thing it was never intended to carry.
That's real life.
We build for real life.
We Like Solving The Weird Stuff
Standard projects are great.
Canopies.
Racks.
Storage systems.
Toolboxes.
Headache racks.
But some of our favorite projects start with:
"This might sound crazy..."
Good.
Those are usually the fun ones.
At The End Of The Day...
We're not trying to build the most expensive equipment.
We're not trying to build the flashiest equipment.
We're trying to build equipment that makes you wonder why you spent so long working without it.
Because when your truck works better, your day works better.
And that's really the whole point.
TDS Fab
Built for trucks that work.
Built by people who understand why they have dents.
